The year of Positivity I absolutely love it!!! I will be hanging this next to my own laptop when I get my own place again this month. I am also a member of Wealthy Affiliate and have my own sites. I will be focusing on my main one this year. I will be creating more content on a regular basis also, didnt do that this past year. I will also take more time to enjoy some of the sweeter things in life like family and loved ones.

    Hello Kerry Ann…

And a Happy new Year to you!

    I enjoyed reading your thoughts.

You seem full of joy and optimism for this coming year and I feel your excitement in your words.

    There were 2 things in particular that caught my attention;

    1) Setting up posts in advance for the ‘just in case’ days…

    2) No boo hoo…

I have been listening to Dan Lok recently and he often starts of his mentoring sessions with “No excuses, no opinions, no victims!”

I love that idea, so your words resonated with me.

It seems you have a very clear idea of what you want.

I started reading “Think & Grow Rich” again today and the 1st concept is to have ‘definite purpose’

    You clearly have that!

I congratulate you on taking positive action and look forward to you sharing your results over the coming year.

My goal for this year is to help a minimum of 1000 people create a minimum of $1000 using free programs that I have been testing.

I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with others to help them have better lives!

    Success to us both!

Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill. It has been years since I read that book. I have read many self-help and motivation books over the years. Maybe there is a possibility that some of the teachings are becoming so entrenched that I don’t even realize where they originate from.
I love your goal of helping people. It always makes life seem so worthwhile when we can share success and help others do the same.

Nice post on getting ready for 2019! Setting goals as you move into the new year is a smart  thing to do. You offer some good advice in explaining the steps that you have already taken to be ready for the days when you may not have time or desire to post new content (planning and getting them ready ahead of time), and more.

I too have planned out the year on a number of fronts. It helps keep you focused so no time is wasted when you are working on your online business, and also you either get more done or spend less time doing what you have set out to do. Organization and planning is essential.

Regarding content for social accounts across the various platforms any of us may be using, there are tools that help out with this as well. I have fully tapped into the ones that work (for me) and I can 10x my output (i.e. published fresh content on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram).

Now is the time to take a fresh look at what you have been doing and resolving to improve in any of the areas that you may feel are weaker. At the start of a new year, you have the entire year to follow through and see results! Your rainy day concpet makes a lot of sense.

Working ahead is a good feeling, knowing that you are ahead of the ball game so to speak. I also do this, and try to stay ahead. The good thing is that if there is some kind of reason I cannot get to the online work, it will not hurt me. Once I do get back, I work a bit harder to get back to the being ahead stage again.

This was a very positive and motivational post, and a great read for me as I too start into this new year. I wish the best for your online business as I wish for mine! Together we can!  Setting goals today for 2019 going forward just makes too much sense!

Thank you for your input, Dave. I will look further into social media scheduled posting when the finances allow. Like everything in life, the better tools do cost money.
Very happy that you found positivity in my post. I wish you a wonderful 2019.

Great advice and I love your positivity and motivation.  I never thought of having a blog post ready for a ‘rainy day’.  But it is a really good idea.  I’m not sure I am that organised but where there’s a will there’s a way (or so they say).

I have a really good feeling and, like yourself, I plan to not waste my time on emotions, people, and activities that don’t serve me this year.  It’s very easy to get down and blame others, but part of my new years resolution is to see the ‘silver lining’ in situations.  Worry and anger are such useless emotions and I plan to only use them as signals to show me the way in 2019.

Best of luck in the new year.  Let’s connect on the Wealthy Affiliate platform as I’m sure we can help each other out.

Happy New Year Nuttanee. May 2019 be the best year for all of us. Positivity is a great mindset.
Thank you for making time to comment on my post.

Happy New Year! My ultimate goal like several years that have passed is to gain more time freedom doing things that I like instead of being bounded to the daily grind of 9-to-5. I started my blog in 2014, but wasn’t really serious until 2016, so that’s two years wasted. Since then, I’ve been working diligently researching keywords and getting more content published. At this point, I’ve generated slightly over $3K cumulatively from one affiliate program. That figure is nothing to shout about, but I want to scale my business this year either through out sourcing content writing or start with paid traffic.

These are areas that I am not familiar with so I am planning them carefully as I go through more resources. If I can hit my 2K mark PER Month, I am ready to submit my resignation letter.

    • kerry ann

Hi Cathy. Congratulations on your great effort. I hope that 2019 will be the year that you can submit that resignation. Have you checked out the Wealthy Affiliate website? This website and community may give you the boost that you need to make it happen. You can find more information on my earlier blog post What is Wealthy Affiliate about?
Check it out and be pleasantly surprised.
