One of my goals is to try and fix my high blood pressure and therefore reduce my blood pressure tablet dependence. I have started drinking apple cider vinegar for weightloss and came across this website called Reduce Blood Pressure Naturally. There is a post on apple cider vinegar and how it helps reduce blood pressure.
The website gives some great simple ideas to help reduce high blood pressure and I am already eating most of the foods mentioned and will try to add more as I go. There are a lot of posts but they are in the archives section.
My Modere multivitamin plus botanicals contains grape seed extract and garlic as well as a great mix of herbs and vitamins. These are some of the ingredients I have read are good to help get blood pressure back to normal. My post explaining Modere is here.
I went out to dinner the other night and somehow the conversation turned to the benefits of apple cider vinegar. Of the 7 of us, one drank it daily just for her health, one started drinking it (with butter to help the taste) for general health and another had just started taking it to keep regular. (instead of going to the toilet 3-4 times in the morning to empty out she now only goes once- not sure of the if and how but seems to work for her). One couldn’t take it because of stomach issues. So here was I just ‘thinking’ about drinking it daily and to receive such a positive review was phenomenal. Not making any health claims here, this is just a record of the conversation that took place.
So each morning and evening I drink about 1/4 of a cup of apple cider vinegar with some honey and a dash of hot water to help mix it. Each day it gets a bit easier to take. I found it very overpowering for the first couple of days. No results to show yet but I guess it is one of those things that just take time.
Love to hear if anyone else is getting benefits from apple cider vinegar.
